My family’s rich cultural heritage and reverence for natural remedies sparked a lifelong passion for holistic wellness. I was captivated by the way body, mind, and spirit intertwine, and I watched with awe as my relatives used traditional techniques to nurture and restore. The power of touch to bring healing, comfort, and peace left a lasting imprint on my heart.
As a high school track athlete, I experienced firsthand the transformative effects of injury recovery treatments. My coaches helped me heal and perform better, igniting a deep curiosity about fitness and human physiology. I became fascinated by how the body responds to movement, nutrition, and rest. I spent countless hours studying biomechanics, analyzing my own form, and refining my training to enhance performance and prevent injury.
Later, while volunteering as an aerobics instructor at the local YMCA, I began to feel the toll of overexertion. Muscle fatigue and tension crept in, and I struggled to find relief. I realized I was pushing my body hard without truly caring for it. That’s when I discovered chiropractic care and massage therapy—and the relief was immediate and profound. My energy returned, my mood lifted, and I felt grounded in a way I hadn’t before. It was a turning point that awakened a deeper appreciation for the healing power of touch.
This revelation led me to pursue a career in fitness and healthcare. As a personal trainer, I immersed myself in anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology, designing programs that challenged clients physically while nurturing their overall well-being. Working with people of all ages and abilities, I witnessed the transformative power of movement and intentional care. My time at the California Rehabilitation Institute as a nursing assistant deepened this understanding. I supported patients as they reclaimed mobility and function after injury or surgery, and I saw firsthand that healing is more than physical—it’s the restoration of dignity, spirit, and hope.
These experiences inspired me to become a massage therapist, dedicated to offering personalized care and lasting relief. Through years of palpation, study, and prayerful practice, I’ve cultivated an intuitive touch—my hands have become my eyes.
